6,000 3D-printed robots for SESI: production at scale, speed, and quality

3D printing is no longer just a tool for prototyping. Today, additive manufacturing makes it possible to develop large-scale projects quickly, consistently, and with a high degree of customization—even when dealing with thousands of parts.

A recent example of this was the project developed by Trideo for SESI São Paulo: the production of 6,000 3D-printed robots, which were turned into personalized keychains and distributed during BETT Brasil 2026, the largest event for innovation and technology in education in Latin America.

A large-scale 3D printing project

The challenge was clear: to produce thousands of pieces in a short amount of time, while maintaining high quality standards and ensuring efficient delivery for the event.

Each robot was made using silver filament and then assembled into a custom keychain, including:

• metal ring;
• custom SESI label;
• finished product ready for distribution.

The result was high-volume mass production, with excellent finish and consistency across all units.

The keychains were distributed at the SESI booth during BETT Brasil, which took place from May 4 to 7.

The event brings together leading companies, institutions, and professionals focused on innovation, education, and technology in Latin America each year. In this context, 3D-printed robots served as a creative promotional tool that was closely aligned with the event’s technological focus.

In addition to manufacturing the parts, the project also included the finishing and presentation process. The robots were delivered in custom boxes bearing the phrase:

“Education transforms. Technology drives.”

A perfect blend of design, technology, and brand experience.

Mass production with 3D printing: speed and precision

Developing a project involving 6,000 parts requires much more than simply printing objects.

To ensure speed and quality throughout the production process, it was necessary to coordinate:

• Multiple 3D printers operating simultaneously;
• Continuous quality control;
• Raw material management;
• Post-processing;
• Assembly;
• Packaging;
• Mass production logistics.

Transforming large quantities of filament into thousands of finished parts ready for distribution demonstrates the true potential of 3D printing for high-volume industrial, promotional, and corporate projects.

3D Printing for Events, Promotions, and Branding

This project demonstrates how additive manufacturing can become a strategic solution for:

• Custom corporate gifts;
• Brand activations;
• Technology events;
• Promotional campaigns;
• Exclusive merchandise;
• Custom bulk production.

The flexibility of 3D printing makes it possible to quickly create one-of-a-kind parts, reducing production times while maintaining a high level of customization.

Trideo: Ready for Large-Scale Projects

The production of 6,000 3D-printed robots for SESI was a challenging and extremely important project for our team.

Beyond the sheer volume, this project underscores Trideo’s ability to execute large-scale projects with efficiency, speed, and professional quality.

In addition to industrial projects and prototypes, we also develop custom solutions for promotional campaigns, events, and brand experiences, such as our line of trophies and custom promotional gifts, which are produced using additive manufacturing and feature a high degree of customization and excellent finish.

From prototypes to mass production, we work to turn ideas into real solutions through additive manufacturing.
