MOLYKOTE BR2 PLUS Multipurpose Grease: Lithium based grease used on X and Y axis smooth rods, and on Z axis smooth rods ONLY. It is applied in very small quantities and is spread by moving the axis, manually for the X and Y axis, from the screen for the Z axis.

X and Y axis: Pea-sized quantity for the two smooth bars of each axis.

Z-axis: Quantity of one pea for each pair of smooth bars.

ACEITODO Multipurpose Household Oil (or WD 40): Basic sewing machine oil. It is used ONLY for the Z-axis rods. Put 5 drops at different heights on the ACME rod and spread by moving the Z-axis from the screen functions.For WD 40, put in larger quantities, one pass to the entire threaded (or ACME) rod. 

 Oil can be obtained at any hardware store and grease at a bearing shop.
